What a crazy time!

In case you don't talk to us very often I thought I would give everyone an update on our family. We moved from the house in Spanish Fork. While we were packing up the U-Haul the house that we had set up to move into fell through. It was going to be a very bad situation for us so we decided we had enough stress in our lives without getting in the middle of a nasty divorce. That left us without a place to live. We stayed at Mike and Elayne's house for a while trying to find a house but we couldn't find anything either big enough or in our price range. While we were there we had Reba's baby blessing. She was beautiful. We had a great time seeing everyone. My dad was able to come out and spend a week with us. (In Mike and Elayne's house, which, I am sure was odd to him) but we had a great time. Jennifer and Tim were able to come down from Idaho and stay close by and spend some time with us too.

After a while we moved to Matt and Kara's house with them. We are renting the basement from them. Their kids are closer in age to ours and they seemed to have more room. We are so very grateful to have such a great family to help us while we can't seem to have much go right for us.

Right after we moved in here we had Chloe's birthday party. She was so excited to finally turn 5! She has been waiting so long. She thought that when she turned 5 she would be able to go to school so she was very disappointed to find out that her birthday was 8 days too late! She blames me for not letting her go to school.

Chloe got a bike with no training wheels for her birthday. We bought training wheels just in case she really needed them but Ken, Kara and I were able to teach her how to ride it in just one day. Okay so Ken and Kara did most of it while I was at school but I started teaching her earlier in the day. She still needs help getting started but she does really well otherwise. She only has one speed and that is FAST!

We are still in school and we are still looking for housing but we are starting to wonder what is going to happen in our life that we need to be homeless for. Maybe we just needed to be humbled. I don't know but we are still trying to get things in order.

I am looking for a job. I have been offered one at Walmart and I have orientation on Friday but I am still hoping that Home Depot will offer me a job and Ken and I will work at the same store just different hours.

Anyway, pictures are coming of some of these events and other times from this month or so. We are trying to stay positive and we are hoping to have better news soon.

School is FINISHED

I just thought that I would let everybody know that I am finished with school and passed the licensing exam and now I just have to go pay the state money and wait for them to send me my license. I am also starting another program on monday that will give me more experience and help me out in the long run. Just a note for those that live on the east coast, We know that we told you that we would be moving out there at the end of this year but with recent events we are not sure if we will be able to. This is because we need to find a new house and more than likely we will have to sign atleast a 6 month if not a year rental contract. We will be moving out there, it may just be a little bit later than planned so don't worry. We had a house set up but it fell through and now we are just rushing to find a house. We are staying with Mike and Elayne until we can find one. The kids love being around their cousins, so they are in heaven.

Goals

My sister had a post on her blog asking for help losing the rest of her baby weight. I thought it was a great idea. I told her I would do it with her. Her goal is to lose 14 lbs by Sept. 30th. I wanted to see if anyone that doesn't know Jen and read her blog would like to join us too. We can all help each other! I know that I need help staying away from chocolate and soda. If you see me with either tell me to cease and desist! Thanks.
